I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a wife to Ryan, a mama to two wonderful boys, and a former Licensed Professional Counselor.

I want to share a little of my journey, how I went from legalism, fear-based religion, and bondage to freedom through the power of grace.

In 2019, after the birth of my second son, I experienced postpartum depression with psychosis. During that vulnerable season, I was desperate for relief, clarity, and so I pursued God for healing. In that pursuit, I became involved in the New Apostolic Reformation and the modern deliverance movement.

What I encountered during this time profoundly impacted my life.

Rather than bringing peace and healing, many of the teachings I was taught and unfortunately came to believe centered on fear, spiritual warfare, hyper vigilance, and the belief that hidden sin, demons, curses, or generational issues were the root of my suffering. I was taught protocols that placed the responsibility for my freedom back onto my performance, what I needed to renounce, confess, identify, or “deal with” next. Instead of rest, I lived in constant self-examination. Instead of assurance, I lived in a constant state of fight or flight. Biblical error and incorrect doctrine didn’t just confuse my theology, it affected my mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Over time, this produced instability and deep religious trauma. I felt blamed for my pain, disconnected from my body and others, and unsure whether I could trust my own thoughts, emotions, or God.

By the grace of God, I encountered the true Gospel—the finished work of Jesus Christ—and everything in my life began to change. Learning who God truly is and what Jesus fully accomplished through His death, burial, and resurrection brought healing to me mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Understanding my new creation identity didn’t just bring theological clarity, it restored stability, peace, and hope. The truth quite literally saved my life.

From 2023–2024, I attended Lifestyle Christianity University as a season of growth in my identity in Christ and my understanding of evangelism. In 2025, I answered the call to serve Jesus and His people and was officially ordained as a pastor through Forward Church.

My passion is proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ and helping people walk in true freedom through rightly understanding God’s character, the New Covenant, and their identity in Christ. I also love to help believers grow in the ministry of reconciliation. Equipping and assisting them in living a lifestyle of Christianity where sharing the love of Jesus and the gospel with others is easy, light and not connected to performance. I am currently blessed to assist the body of Forward Church with leading Evangelism and Outreach.

My hope is to help those who are navigating confusion, spiritual abuse, legalism, burnout, or performance-based Christianity find the peace that only the gospel can bring. Through pastoral counseling and discipleship, I come alongside people to help them untangle fear-based beliefs, heal from religious trauma, and discover the freedom that is already theirs in Christ.

Freedom doesn’t come from trying harder, fighting yourself, or endlessly searching for what’s “wrong.” It flows from knowing the truth, resting in grace, in our completeness in Christ, and learning to trust the God who is already present, already good, and already at work within us.

Jennifer
