Deliverance Ministry Bondage
The modern deliverance movement almost caused me to lose my mind. It’s honestly difficult at times to find the words to articulate how detrimental the teachings and doctrines I was taught and believed while a part of this movement were to me. The effects of the legalism, bondage, torment and fear that I experienced are truly indescribable.
I believe God is leading me to speak up about the error involved and what my experience was like because others need to hear the truth to make them free.
It doesn’t matter what a deliverance minister tells you, in Christ you cannot be cursed. “But Christ has bought us out from under the doom of that impossible system by taking the curse for our wrongdoing upon himself. For it is written in the Scripture, “Anyone who is hanged on a tree is cursed” Galatians 3:13
Generational curses were for ancient Israel under the Law. That can never be you, my friend. God is the one who did the cursing and He is not cursing Christ, so if you’re in Christ why and how would He curse you? And there is not one scripture to prove or support that demons create or enforce curses.
You can fully trust that what Jesus did through His death, burial and resurrection was sufficient. You can walk in victory, blessing and freedom because what Jesus deserves you get as a free gift. By grace through faith.
The enemy has been stripped of all authority, power and right. He has no legal access to you, period. But if you believe he does, like I did, you will have problems.
Jesus changed everything and that includes the enemy and his kingdom. Don’t let teachings lead you away from the freedom found in the finished work of Christ like I did. Seek to understand the finished work yourself and be blown away by what you truly have in Him.
